To further deepen economic and trade exchanges between the Macao Special Administrative Region and Southwest China's Guizhou province, 12 companies from Guizhou attended the 29th Macao International Trade & Investment Exhibition and the 2024 Macao Franchise Exhibition from Oct 16 to 19.

At the exhibitions, Guizhou set up a 120-square-meter exhibition area to showcase its agricultural and specialty products, intangible cultural heritage, and health products while engaging in related investment promotion activities.

Relying on the exhibitions' advantages, Guizhou expects to strengthen economic and trade exchanges with Macao and Portuguese-speaking countries, expand international cooperation, and provide a communication platform for bilateral business matchmaking.

It aims to deepen cooperation in traditional Chinese medicine, exhibitions and conferences, and economic and trade promotion activities.

During the exhibition, the Guizhou Provincial Department of Commerce and the United Front Work Department of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee visited several investment promotion departments, business associations, colleges, and universities in Macao to deepen cooperation.

The Macao International Trade & Investment Exhibition is the region's first exhibition to receive certification from the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI). It is one of the annual international economic and trade events in Macao.
