Leading technological achievements, scientific discoveries to debut at Big Data Expo 2024

The China International Big Data Industry Expo 2024, set to take place in Guiyang from Aug 28 to 30, will showcase the top 10 leading technological achievements and 57 most outstanding scientific discoveries over the past year, as announced at a news conference on Aug 25.

The collection and evaluation process for these achievements began in May. As of July 2, a total of 275 technological achievements had been submitted, including 56 from Guizhou province.

The submissions focused on significant scientific discoveries and theoretical breakthroughs in fields such as artificial intelligence large models, big data, blockchain, cloud computing, 5G, the internet, the internet of things, and data security, highlighting the most cutting-edge and disruptive technological advancements.

Additionally, the news conference outlined a series of events scheduled for the expo, including the release of the 2024 China Big Data Unicorn Enterprise List and a special session on lunar science multimodal professional large models.

Concurrent events will feature dozens of specialized releases, including new technologies, products, and models in application areas such as data space, city-wide digital transformation, digital government, integrated data and computing, power and computing collaboration, and data security.
