A freight train carrying two containers laden with Guizhou's agricultural products recently set out from Bijie East Railway Station, Southwest China's Guizhou province, bound for Taiwan via Qinzhou Port in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
This marked the launch of a new intermodal freight route that is operated by the Guizhou branch of New Land-Sea Corridor Operation Co.
The transportation of these agricultural products was conducted under the "one-container transportation model", which is aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and avoiding the risk of damage during transit.
In recent years, the Guizhou branch has employed the "one-container transportation model" to successfully deliver Guizhou's renowned agricultural products to multiple countries and regions. Such products include tea, dehydrated vegetables, adlay millet, pomelos, and chestnut rose juice.
Moreover, this model facilitates the introduction of high-quality agricultural products from overseas, such as grains and chili peppers, into the markets of Guizhou.
Looking forward, the Guizhou branch is committed to further advancing the development of the "one-container transportation model", and exploring the application of the "one-shipment-bill system". It will also ensure a smooth channel for international trade, continuing the promotion of both inbound and outbound goods.
