The final of the 2023 Colorful Guizhou Singing Contest concluded in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Oct 27.
The final was divided into five groups: folk style singing, bel vanto, original singing, pop, and chorus.
In the original singing group, participants from various regions of Guizhou wore vibrant and colorful ethnic costumes, showcasing the musical and cultural diversity of Guizhou's ethnic groups with their exquisite singing and impressive performances.
Through their captivating performances, a series of distinctive Guizhou local customs and rural landscapes were brought to life, showcasing the unique charm of Guizhou's ethnic minority cultures through ethnic music and providing the audience with a novel experience.
After two intense rounds of competition, Yang Zhengcheng from Qiandongnan Miao and Dong autonomous prefecture won first place with a score of 197.783, Liang Jian from Qiandongnan secured second place with a score of 197.427, and Long Yi and Long Yulan from Bijie city took third place with a score of 196.752.
In the bel vanto group, Luo Jiezhou from the education work committee of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee emerged as the first-place winner with a score of 198.146, Xiong Piao from Zunyi city secured second place with a score of 197.359, and Huang Linyong from Bijie claimed third place with a score of 197.117.
In the pop group, Zhang Liang from the Guizhou Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission emerged as the first-place winner with a total score of 198.304, Tian Ju from Tongren city secured second place with a score of 197.897, and Lu Linxi from Guiyang city claimed third place with a score of 196.64.
