Guizhou fields turn into painter's palette

Mangzhong, or Grain in Ear, the ninth solar term of the year, is a busy season for farmers.

They were racing to harvest barley and wheat and to begin the planting of rice seedlings for the next season at Wanfeng Forest Scenic Spot in Xingyi, Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture in Guizhou province.

The rice paddy fields make a natural color palette and add to the idyllic atmosphere and marvelous mountainous scenery.
