Southwest China's Guizhou province held a conference for trade in services during the 2022 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) in Beijing on Sept 1.
The conference aims to introduce Guizhou's trade in services and attract excellent companies and talents to the province.
Ma Lei, head of the Department of Commerce of Guizhou province, said at the conference that Guiyang is developing into a demonstration city for national service outsourcing and has service trade relations with 110 countries and regions.
Guizhou's business services have become well-known among investors, making the province a popular place with various opportunities for investment.
Guizhou is currently speeding up the construction of an inland open economy hub, taking the Belt and Road Initiative as an opportunity to go global, and seizing the opportunities presented by the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership.
Guizhou aims to build inland free trade ports and domestic and foreign opening channels and platforms. It is developing into an important international freight hub, an open industrial cluster, a service trade cluster, a "dual economic cycle" coordinated development zone, and an institutional opening and innovation zone.
With the upgrading of inland open economic pilot zones, Guizhou strives to blaze a new path that promotes reform, development, and innovation through opening-up.
