With advantages in big data development, Southwest China's Guizhou province has been using digital technologies to help the real economy transform and upgrade.
Since 2018, Guizhou has launched 409 pilot projects and 4,326 demonstration projects for the in-depth integration of big data and real economy. It also has helped 9,217 companies start digital transformation and more than 25,000 companies use cloud computing.
In recent years, Guizhou has been accelerating the innovation and application of artificial intelligence, 5G, blockchain and other technologies involved in characteristic and advantageous industries.
In 2021, the added value of Guizhou's digital economy exceeded 650 billion yuan ($93.93 billion), and more than 90 percent of the industries had been digitalized.
This year, Guizhou aims to help more than 2,000 real economy companies realize in-depth integration with big data.
