The investment promotion department of Southwest China's Guizhou province recently launched 10 measures to ease companies' operation pressure amid the post-COVID-19 era and attract more large companies with good development and market potential.
Guizhou will also further complete its database for industrial chains, targeted industrial companies, and investment attraction projects. Through targeted investment promotion, investment attraction and location selection, it aims to plan more than 5,000 investment attraction projects according to main industrial chains by the end of this year and release 3,000 of them.
Government officials at all levels will seize upon opportunities to carry out door-to-door investment attraction activities. In an effort to hold more exhibitions and expos, Guizhou aims to contact more than 5,000 companies by the end of this year and sign contracts worth more than 300 billion yuan ($44.73 billion).
Relying on online intelligent platforms, Guizhou will screen and analyze the latest industrial information and targeted companies, and introduce investment attraction projects and preferential policies for these companies.
By the end of this year, the province aims to contact more than 5,000 companies online and sign contracts with a total investment of more than 200 billion yuan.
Centered around Shenzhen, Guizhou will also focus on attracting investment from South China's Guandong province, as well as the Yangtze River Delta area, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle, and cities in Central China.
By the end of this year, the province aims to attract 1,000 industrial projects from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Great Bay Area, sign contracts with total investment exceeding 200 billion yuan, and receive more than 140 billion yuan in paid-up investment.
It will also make full use of idle assets in industrial parks and activate existing investment projects, as well as encourage the province's major companies to attract upstream and downstream companies of industrial chains.
By the end of 2022, Guizhou plans to hold two launch ceremonies for the construction of more than 1,000 projects.
To promote investment attraction and preferential policies, every county in Guizhou will send information on business benefit policies to companies and release a digital version of the latest industrial investment attraction policies.
In addition, Guizhou will strictly implement policies to optimize the business environment and encourage all companies and businessmen to visit and learn more about Guizhou's business environment.
