To stimulate culture- and tourism-related consumption, Southwest China's Guizhou province recently selected 10 scenic spots to develop the nighttime economy.

The scenic spots are Qingyan Ancient Town in Guiyang, 1935 cultural street in Zunyi, Shuicheng Ancient Town in Liupanshui, Shanli Jiangnan scenic area in Anshun, Tongxin cultural scenic spot in Bijie, Jinjie street in Tongren, as well as Zhenyuan Ancient Town and Danzhai Wanda Village in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong autonomous prefecture, Libo Ancient Town in Qiannan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture, and Xiangchou country fair in Qianxi'nan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture.

Among these, Qingzhen Ancient Town in the provincial capital is one of Guizhou's four major ancient towns; it is located 29 kilometers away from the city center. It was established about 600 years ago and features exquisite buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911).

Meanwhile, Danzhai Wanda Village is a major poverty alleviation project in Danzhai county. It is a commercial complex and tourism spot with national intangible cultural heritages, handicraft products, ethnic food and medicine, as well as hotels and recreation places.
