Online fair promotes Guiyang to the world

With the 2020 Guiyang Import and Export Online Fair set to take place in Guiyang -- capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province on June 26-28 -- exhibitors are currently busy getting ready for international buyers and exhibitors to attend.

Donghao Lansheng Group, one of the major participants of the fair, organized over 600 companies from 26 countries to exhibit thousands of commodities and the number is still growing.

A company spokesman said the online fair shows Guiyang as an open city to the world and the event has already received recognition from overseas clients for its organization, online commodity information and services.

The spokesman said his group first learned about Guiyang's business environment, consumption levels and GDP growth at the China International Import Expo in 2019 and was impressed by Guiyang's potential.

He said that Donghao Lansheng's participation in the fair was just the beginning of its cooperation with Guiyang. During the 2020 Guiyang Foreign Investment Promotion Conference held recently, the group reached a strategic cooperation agreement with the city.

Moving forwards, the group will introduce high-quality imported commodities and a goods supply chain in Guiyang's market and push for Guiyang to become a city known for its trade and manufacturing of middle and high-end consumer goods.
