Yunyan's medical institutions recognized for grassroots service excellence

Four medical institutions from Yunyan district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, were recently recognized as top performers in the 2024 "Quality Service at the Grassroots Level" campaign launched by the National Health Commission. These institutions include Qianling Town Central Hospital, Shixi Community Health Service Center, Luchongguan Community Health Service Center, and Gaicha Community Health Service Center.

The campaign aimed to enhance grassroots capacity for disease prevention, treatment, and health management, ensuring residents have access to equitable and continuous healthcare services. A total of 2,949 community health centers and township hospitals across China reached the recommended service capability standards.

Qianling Town Central Hospital, a model institution in Guiyang, integrates medical care, prevention, rehabilitation, and public health. Shixi Community Health Service Center focuses on comprehensive community care, emphasizing chronic disease management and family doctor services.

Luchongguan Community Health Service Center is known for its personalized home visits and health plans for the elderly. Gaicha Community Health Service Center serves the surrounding community with accessible and public-interest healthcare.

Yunyan's community health institutions will continue improving service quality, expanding key departments like pediatrics and traditional Chinese medicine, and bringing quality medical services closer to residents' doorsteps.
