Yunyan embraces New Year with vibrant activities

As 2025 begins and Spring Festival approaches, Yunyan district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is set to organize over 70 cultural and recreational activities to meet the diverse needs of its residents. These events are built around nine key themes.

Key events include the "Village T" Night Heritage Fashion Show on New Year's Day, blending ethnic culture with fashion, and the Qianlingshan Spring Carnival from Jan 29 to Feb 16, which will offer a rich mix of music, performances, and interactive activities.

Music lovers will be treated to performances such as the 65th Anniversary of Liang Zhu, Oscar Classic Hits, and Anime Music Concerts, while sports enthusiasts can participate in the New Year's High Climb at Qianlingshan Park.

The district is also promoting local commerce with festive shopping experiences in key malls and will host over 25 cultural performances, including dramas, comedies, and children's theater.

Additionally, Yunyan will offer themed city walks exploring the area's historical streets and blending food, culture, and shopping. These activities aim to enhance community vitality and foster a rich cultural atmosphere for both residents and visitors.
