Guangzhou's singing and dancing entertainment venues (KTVs), which include KTV parlors, mini singing booths, internet service venues, chess and card rooms, mahjong halls, and other public venues are now allowed to open.
The Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province issued a notice on Aug 24 on the matter of inter-provincial tourism.
On Aug 24, Guangdong Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention updated health management measures for domestic travelers returning or traveling to Guangdong. Quarantine is still required for people from certain places of seven domestic provinces.

Hong Kong decided on Monday to tighten health quarantine arrangements on inbound travelers from 16 countries to fend off the more infectious Delta coronavirus variant.
