Some of you may have noticed that your health code has turned yellow in the past two days, leading to restrictions in taking public transport and entering public venues. Why has this happened and what can you do about it?
Zhang Zhoubin, deputy director and spokesperson of the Guangzhou Center for Disease Control and Prevention, clarified the differences between the three home health management methods to control COVID-19 at a press conference held by the municipal government.
According to the requirements of the Guangzhou municipality and the current epidemic situation, we have decided to conduct a second round of testing on residents living in Xinhua and Xinya Streets, starting from 13:00 on Dec 18.
Starting Dec 16, passengers can take both Guangzhou and Shenzhen metro using QR codes from either city's metro application, "Shenzhen Metro APP" or "Guangzhou Metro APP".
Guangzhou's Huadu district reported one positive case on Dec 16 after carrying out nucleic acid testing of international cargo flight crews.
While carrying out testing on those at high risk of exposure to imported COVID-19 cases, Guangzhou reported one patient had been infected by virus carriers traveling from abroad.
