Baiyun Sci-Park to welcome 1st commercial complex
On Dec 12, the core area of Longgui Street's Private Science and Technology Park will welcome its first commercial complex - the Baipang Commercial Building Project - on a reserved patch of land on Longgui Street.
With a total investment exceeding 200 million yuan ($27.47 million), this commercial complex has a planned construction area of 42,980 square meters.
The project will leverage regional industrial development and transportation advantages to incorporate leisure, shopping, supermarkets, and cultural entertainment, while striving to attract technology-based enterprises and form a hub for urban scientific innovation and manufacturing.

In the future, the complex will introduce chain hotels, unique dining options, clothing accessories, and coffee and tea brands, becoming a new landmark of experiential consumption that attracts high-quality enterprises and talent.
It will fill a gap in regional commercial facilities, enhance the vitality of the business environment, and provide services for the industrial sector and residents in the park.
It will also bring new development opportunities for the Baipang economic cooperative, strengthen the village collective economy, increase villagers' incomes, create job opportunities, and aid in regional upgrading.
This year, Longgui Street has already seen the introduction of several important projects, such as the AVCiT Base, Dian Dou De Headquarters Industrial Park, and UR Intelligent Base, highlighting the increasingly significant industrial role played by the core area of the park.
