The Baiyun District Center for Disease Control and Prevention is now fully topped out and entering its final stages.

The project is part of Baiyun district's ongoing efforts to improve public health services and provide high-quality healthcare for its residents.

The new center, located at No 1 Longxing West Road, Longgui Street, will feature a comprehensive building that integrates business, inspection, and administrative functions. The project covers a total area of approximately 7,558 square meters, with a total construction area of about 23,000 sq m, including two underground floors and 16 above-ground floors.

This center is a key health infrastructure project in Baiyun. With a total investment of around 243 million yuan ($33.46 million), the new center will significantly improve Baiyun's disease control and prevention capabilities, public health inspection and testing, and emergency response to public health incidents. The project is expected to be completed by July 2025.

The new Baiyun District Center for Disease Control and Prevention will provide a strong foundation for disease control and prevention work in the district. It is expected to open next year, marking a major milestone in Baiyun's healthcare development.
