Once operational, the Guangzhou-Qingyuan Intercity Railway South Extension Line will connect Guangzhou North Railway Station with Baiyun International Airport and other key routes, reducing travel time between Guangzhou North Railway Station and Baiyun Railway Station to mere 14 minutes. It will take just 30 minutes to travel from Qingyuan to Baiyun Railway Station, improving the efficiency of regional transportation.
