Yunluo Botanical Garden opens in Guangzhou
The Yunluo Botanical Garden opened its doors to the public on Nov 29. Located at Baiyun Mountain, the garden spans 86.6 hectares and features a diverse collection of over 1,500 plant species, including 36 nationally protected first-class plants and 58 second-class plants.

The Yunluo Botanical Garden is designed to integrate plant conservation, ecological education, and recreational activities. It boasts several specialized gardens, such as the Rainforest Plant Garden, the Orchid Garden, and the Medicinal Plant Garden, as well as the Flower City Art Museum and the Natural Education Museum, which offer educational exhibits and interactive experiences.
In addition to its rich plant diversity, the garden is home to several rare and endangered species, including the "Rainforest Giant" Parashorea chinensis and the "Plant Panda" Paphiopedilum emersonii. The garden's design emphasizes the harmony between nature and modern landscape architecture, creating a serene environment for visitors to enjoy.
