The Baiyun district government and China Railway Construction Engineering Group (CRCEG) signed a strategic framework agreement to jointly promote high-quality development in the district's construction industry on Nov 26.

The agreement outlines collaboration in various fields, including housing construction, municipal engineering, river engineering, water management, and park development.

CRCEG, a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Railway Group Limited (CREC), is renowned for its expertise in investment, design, engineering construction, urban operation, and industrial manufacturing. The company has undertaken major projects such as Beijing Railway Station, Shenzhen Railway Station, and Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station.

In recent years, the collaboration between CRCEG and Baiyun has yielded fruitful results, with the district showing strong development potential and momentum. The new agreement aims to further enhance this partnership, utilizing advanced technologies and processes to create high-quality projects, thereby contributing to the district's infrastructure and urban development.

Baiyun saw its GDP grow 5.1 percent in the first three quarters of this year, the second-highest growth rate in Guangzhou. This strategic partnership marks a new chapter of mutual benefit between Baiyun and CRCEG.
