The Shimen Street "Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Project" Promotion and Investment Promotion Conference took place in Baiyun Lake Digital Technology City, Guangzhou on Nov 24.

The event saw the signing of cooperation agreements between Shimen Street and eight high-quality enterprises. The total investment amount exceeded 10 billion yuan ($1.38 billion).

Shimen Street, located in the heart of Baiyun Lake Digital Technology City, is a key area connecting Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport with the central urban area. It boasts convenient transportation, complete public facilities, rich natural resources, and a deep history and culture. Over the years, the street has been committed to creating a favorable business environment. As of October 2024, it had attracted 25 projects, including Baidu AI Cloud, ZGC Information Valley, Peking University Science Park, Tsinghua Leaguer Center, HIT Big Data Group, and NetEase Youdao, with a total investment of approximately 24.6 billion yuan and an estimated annual operating income of 64.8 billion yuan.

During the event, eight high-quality enterprises, including Guangzhou Anfa Logistics, Guangzhou Nanfang Guanghe Cultural Tourism Company, and Guangzhou Guangda Footwear Company, signed agreements on various cooperation projects with Shimen Street. These projects will further enhance the digital industrial agglomeration prowess of Shimen Street and enhance the productivity of Baiyun district.
