The Fudan edition of the "2023 China Hospital Rankings" and the "2023 China Hospital Specialty Reputation Rankings" were released in Shanghai on Nov 16. A total of 11 hospitals from Guangdong province made it to the top 100.

Nanfang Hospital of Southern Medical University, located in Jingxi Street, Baiyun district, Guangzhou, received the highest A++++ rating. This recognition makes it one of only two comprehensive hospitals in Guangdong that have achieved this top-tier status. The hospital, established in 1941 and affiliated with Southern Medical University, has consistently demonstrated excellence in medical treatment, education, research, and preventive care.

This year, the Fudan Edition of the China Hospital Rankings has undergone notable changes. The ranking method now categorizes hospitals into five levels: A++++, A+++, A++, A+, and A, each comprising 20 hospitals. This new system aims to provide a more comprehensive and fair evaluation of hospital performance nationwide.
