The highly anticipated "Hundred Lions Championship" concluded with a spectacular display of skill and tradition on Nov 17 in Baiyun district, Guangzhou.

The competition saw 18 teams compete fiercely for the coveted title of "Lion King", and took place in Renhe town, where the vibrant performances captivated the audience. Lions of various colors, including black, white, and yellow, showcased their prowess in diverse landscapes such as mountains, rivers, lotus ponds, and peach orchards. The lions demonstrated their agility and strength by crossing rivers, climbing mountains, and collecting treasures.

One of the standout performances was by the Datiankong Martial Arts Hall Awakening Lion Team from Jianggao town. Their routine, "Dragon Palace Treasure Hunt", depicted the story of Sun Wukong retrieving the Golden Cudgel from the Dragon Palace. This performance earned them the title of "Lion King", marking their second consecutive championship victory after winning the regional selection competition.

The competition was intense, with teams from Jianggao town, Guangzhou Faqiang Lion Art Museum, and Jinsha Street Shafeng United Society Fenggangyongsheng Sports Association securing the top three positions.
