Located approximately 7 kilometers from Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station, the Dalang Passenger Train Depot spans 23 hectares and is designed to be a large-scale, multifunctional passenger train depot. The project involves the construction of a complex structure that includes 3,277 foundation piles and 933 support columns, a scale rarely seen in domestic projects.
Completing the foundation work, which involved pouring 330 cubic meters of concrete over eight hours, lays a solid groundwork for the project's next phase. This depot is a key component of the Baiyun Railway Station, playing a pivotal role in supporting the Baiyun Railway Station's operations and providing essential services for the station's "4S" train maintenance and assembly functions. The project is expected to improve the transportation conditions and economic development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Upon completion, it will be the only large-scale, multifunctional passenger train depot in Guangzhou, further enhancing the city's railway capabilities and contributing to the Baiyun Railway Station's infrastructure.
