Pharmaceutical company wins bid for plot in Baiyun
On July 22, Guangdong Guangwan Pharmaceutical Investment Company won the bid for a plot in the Minke Intelligent Home Industry Park in Jianggao town, Baiyun district.
This company, a subsidiary of Guangdong Wanyang Pharmaceutical Company, is a key enterprise in Baiyun, primarily engaged in the wholesale and retail of traditional Chinese medicine, antibiotics, Chinese herbal medicine granules, health foods, and medical devices.
The project's plan includes production plants, research and development centers, storage facilities, and administrative support facilities, which are aimed at expanding the production of traditional Chinese medicine, antibiotics, Chinese herbal medicine granules, health foods, and medical devices. The area around the project is home to several research and development centers, industrial parks, and industrial zones.
The plot continues the overall planning of the biomedical and health base, with an estimated total investment of about 200 million yuan ($27.59 million). It will establish the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Pharmaceutical Smart Industry Base, forming a high-tech aggregation area that is capable of carrying out the complex tasks required in the life medicine and health science and technology industry in terms of production, learning, research, supply, and sales, driving the upgrading of the biomedical industry.
This year, Baiyun plans to supply 504 hectares of land, including residential land, commercial and service land, and industrial land.
