The Huawei Guangzhou Research and Development Center Phase One project, located in the Xinan area in Baiyun district, is set to debut soon.

At the construction site of the project, a towering research building emerges, showcasing a perfect fusion of brown brick walls and transparent curtain walls. Upon entering the building, all necessary hardware facilities are in place, with well-designed layouts for offices and meeting rooms.

The project is Huawei Technologies Company's first research and development base in Guangzhou, situated on Songzhou Street, with a capacity for approximately 5,000 research and development employees.

The project's plans include R&D in areas such as smart cars, cloud computing, and the internet of things. Its goal is to accelerate the application of ICT in Guangzhou's industries, promote the advancement of smart cities, 5G technology, and other industries, and create a future industrial cluster.

Currently, the project construction is progressing smoothly, with the main structures of the nine tower buildings already topped out, and all projects proceeding in an orderly manner. The installation of the office area curtain walls is 90 percent complete, with the overall completion and delivery expected by September.

The center is poised to drive the development of the smart car supply chain and attract new enterprises and resources, fostering the growth of digital and intelligent industries.
