From Nov 9 to 21, 2025, the highly anticipated 15th National Games is scheduled to be held in Guangzhou. The Guangzhou competition area anticipates to host 39 percent of the sporting events and 33 percent of the Paralympic Games events. Among them, the four venues in Guangzhou's Baiyun district are set to serve as competition venues for various major sports such as rowing, kayaking, volleyball, and trampolining.

The Guangdong Canoe Slalom Venue, previously used for the 16th Guangzhou Asian Games, features a 500-meter artificial river that can accommodate 1,000 spectators.

The Guangdong Rowing Venue is a key training venue for rowing and kayaking, equipped with a 2,500-meter by 160-meter artificial waterway built to international standards. The venue has hosted numerous domestic and international competitions.

The Guangzhou Sports Arena, a modern multi-functional sports facility, has hosted major events such as the 18th FIBA Basketball World Cup (Guangzhou Zone), the 16th Guangzhou Asian Games, and the closing ceremony of the ninth National Games.

The Guangzhou Disabled Persons Sports Center, covering an area of 56,000 square meters, is an essential venue for sports training, competitions, fitness activities, and cultural exchanges for disabled individuals.

Preparations for the 15th National Games and the Paralympic Games are progressing smoothly, with synchronized planning and resource sharing. The four competition venues in Baiyun are undergoing organized upgrades and renovations.
