Recently, the Huangpodong Reservoir in Baiyun district has emerged as a popular destination, attracting visitors with its scenic views.

In recent years, Baiyun Mountain has undertaken various measures to upgrade and renovate the Huangpodong Reservoir and its surroundings. These improvements include the opening of a 520-meter water promenade, the planting of over 1,000 new trees, and the overall revitalization of the area with fresh greenery. The water-view promenade allows visitors to appreciate the lake and mountain scenery up close, stroll along the secluded paths in the woodland paths, and fully immerse themselves in the tranquility and beauty of nature.

The Huangpodong Reservoir promenade was completed in January, providing visitors with scenic spots to view the mountains, birds, and forests up close, allowing them to experience the joy of being close to the water.

Baiyun Mountain also offers a 1,500-meter-long cloud flying cableway, enabling visitors a breathtaking panoramic view of the reservoir and its surroundings, blending excitement with beautiful scenery.

In spring this year, Baiyun Mountain collaborated with various sectors of society to carry out tree-planting activities, adding over 1,000 new trees, including reeds and dawn redwoods, adding fresh greenery to the reservoir and enhancing the overall scenery.

With trees like sequoias blossoming in the autumn and winter seasons, the Huangpodong Reservoir creates a romantic atmosphere that captivates visitors and leaves them wanting more.
