The renovation project for Nanhu Amusement Park in Baiyun district is gradually moving forward. The main amusement park equipment and other supporting facilities are entering the installation phase, with a planned trial operation to start in December.

The park, located at 983 Tonghe Road, covers an area of 250,000 square meters. It opened as a theme park on September 28, 1985, and has since become one of the four major parks in Guangzhou. Renowned as a source of joy for the city's inhabitants, particularly during their childhood, it holds significant cultural and recreational value.

The renovated Nanhu Amusement Park is set to embrace the theme of the New History Galaxy parallel universe, creating the first domestic science fiction immersive amusement park, "Nanhu Amusement Park NH983."

With a projected commencement of trial operations in December 2024, the park aims to become a support point for the cultural and tourism industry in Baiyun, injecting a new commercial atmosphere into the Nanhu area while forging an innovative digital park that combines cultural tourism with digital creativity.

The development of Nanhu Amusement Park forms a vital part of Baiyun's efforts to create a comprehensive tourism demonstration area in Guangdong province.
