Recently, Guangzhou Children's Park in Baiyun district has acquired two baby swan geese.

Now, they can feed on water plants, seeds, and algae in Tongxin lake, as well as some insects and fish.

Swan geese are giant geese belonging to the family of ducks and swans. They are the ancestors of Chinese geese and are a national second-class protected animal in China. These Geese feature long bodies, black beaks, and light grey-brown feathers.

The cultural significance of swan geese in literature is well-documented. Throughout history, they have been revered as symbols of loyalty and friendship, and this sentiment is evident in various traditional idioms and poetry. Some examples include "to deliver a message by swan geese" and "what we know about true love in this world is the life-to-a-life promise only."

It is worth noting that these expressions have their roots in the deep-seated cultural beliefs of certain societies, and they continue to hold relevance in contemporary times.
