ABT Sportsline, a leading German automobile modification company, registered its China headquarters in Baiyun district on April 21, which will help Baiyun develop a 10-billion-yuan ($1-billion) intelligent network and new energy vehicle industry cluster.

Next, ABT Sportsline will build its international design center and high-end custom production base in Baiyun district. With the help of ABT's designs, engineering services, track technology, brand and production technology, a supporting industrial cluster for core components will be established to help Guangzhou's auto parts industry strengthen and supplement the industrial chain.

Baiyun district will also focus on building a 100-billion-yuan automobile industry development axis, optimizing the layout of the entire industrial chain for the R&D and manufacture of automotive core parts, automobile sales and after-sales services, creating a high-quality industrial development ecology and injecting new vitality into the high-quality development of Guangzhou's automobile industry.
