Construction on airport's rail transit network makes progresses
The main structure of the open excavation area for the Guangzhou-Zhuhai section of the rail transit project in Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Terminal 3, was recently topped off, marking significant progress in the project's construction, local media outlets reported on April 3.
Constructed by Guangzhou Metro Group, this is China's first "two high-speed railways, two intercities" hub project. It is also a major measure to promote the integration of Baiyun airport's air and rail transportation.
Upon its completion, it will cooperate with the airport's Terminal 3 comprehensive transportation center to create a globally competitive transportation hub. This project will also contribute to the high-quality development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
