Guangdong Bureau of Coal Geology headquarters capped

The main structure of the office building for the Guangdong Bureau of Coal Geology in Baiyun district was capped on March 11. After the completion of the office building, the bureau will begin operating its headquarters in Baiyun to develop the bureau's economy.

The office building is located on Junhe street, and has a construction area of 11,399 square meters. Construction of the project started in March 2021 and is expected to be completed in September this year. It will be put into operation by the end of 2023.

The headquarters will be developed to have an integrated work model with "headquarters office industry + training center" functions. By 2025, the bureau's headquarters is expected to generate an output value of more than 7 billion yuan ($1 billion) and provide job opportunities to over 20,000 people.

Five major industries will be introduced to the headquarters: geological engineering and technology, ecological and environmental engineering, geological exploration and energy resource development, municipal engineering, as well as geographic information and underground space technology R&D.
