In order to create a smart incubation headquarters base, City Flower (Guangzhou) Flavors & Fragrances' innovation industrial park was capped on August 27 in the central area of the Guangzhou Private Science and Technology Park.

The Hong Kong-funded company was established in 1997 and moved to the Guangzhou Private Science and Technology Park in 2004. After years of expansion, the company now urgently needs to expand its office, R&D, and production scales.

With a total investment of 230 million yuan ($33 million), the capped project covers an area of 11,000 square meters, and a floorage of 52,000 sq m.

Focusing on the flavor and fragrance industry, it will build three modern standard workshops and office buildings, including R&D office buildings, mid-term test rooms and other supporting facilities.

The project is expected to be completed in May 2023, with an annual output value of 140 million yuan and a tax revenue of about 10 million yuan once operational, and it plans to demonstratively promote the park's industrial upgrading and development.

Lu Jian, head of the company, said that the headquarters plan to introduce more upstream and downstream enterprises to the industry chain to form a sustainable industrial complex in Baiyun.
