Baiyun showcased its rural vitalization products at the 30th Guangzhou Fair, which was held at the China Import and Export Fair Complex from Aug 26 to 29.

The fair's rural vitalization exhibition featured high-quality agricultural products from government supporting areas.

At the fair, the Baiyun pavilion was divided into several exhibition areas for fields like Cantonese embroidery, intangible cultural heritage items, tea tasting, cultural tourism, Guizhou wine, and dried fungus.

Nine enterprises and thousands of products from places like Guangdong's Qingyuan and Xinjiang's Shufu county were on display, while a sales mode integrating online and offline sales, as well as retail and centralized collection was applied.

Wang Shuhong, deputy head of a Guizhou-based agricultural enterprise supported by the Baiyun government, said that the exhibition provided an opportunity for their products to be exposed to more consumers due to Guangzhou's large population and high consumption level.

Baiyun is making efforts to reshaping public impressions of distinctive products from Guangzhou's supporting areas. The district also strives to improve the sales of products through new packaging, technology, and increased quality, increasing the income of people from supporting areas, as well as enhancing their enthusiasm for farming.
