2024 Guangzhou International Travel Fair to take place

The 2024 Guangzhou International Travel Fair (GITF) is set to take place from May 16th to 18th at the Guangzhou Import and Export Fair Complex, Area C. Under the theme "Innovation Drives Future of Tourism," this year's exhibition promises to showcase the latest trends shaping the international tourism landscape.

This year's GITF is gearing up to be a global affair, with exhibitors coming from 55 countries and regions, including Azerbaijan, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Spain, the United States, and many more. Notably, the Hong Kong Tourism Board will be a star partner, leading a contingent of 52 exhibitors to present a plethora of new experiences and products, deepening visitors' understanding of themed tourism experiences. In addition, nearly 40 domestic cultural and tourism bureaus and companies from Sichuan, Hubei, Hainan, Tianjin, Chongqing, Qiqihar, Bijie, Southern Guizhou, Chengdu, Anshun, Ningbo, Guiyang, Chenzhou, Nyingchi, Shenzhen, Meizhou, Zhanjiang, Qingyuan, Dongguan, Zhuhai, Foshan, and Guangzhou will also appear at the exhibition, bringing new highlights to cultural tourism.

Special zones

Four distinct zones are poised to lead the charge towards the future of tourism. These include the Automobile Culture Tourism Theme Activity Zone, the Study and Tour Exhibition Area, the Bay Area Cultural and Creative IP Pavilion, and the GITF Online Live Streaming Festival. Each zone will offer unique insights and experiences, from showcasing beloved models favored by self-driving enthusiasts to exploring intangible cultural heritage up close.

Forums

As a key highlight, the forums at GITF will host industry experts and representatives from renowned companies, engaging in discussions on topics ranging from tech and cultural tourism to outbound and inbound tourism. Representatives from esteemed organizations like the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) will be present, sharing insights and shaping discussions on the future of tourism.

Exciting activities

GITF isn't just an exhibition; it's also a platform for consumers to indulge in enriching and cost-effective travel experiences. Visitors can expect a plethora of exhibitors offering attractive travel products and discounts. Additionally, engaging activities such as the "Tourism Innovation Home" and the "Youth Exploration of Guangdong Culture" promise to keep attendees entertained while offering opportunities to win fantastic cultural gifts.
