European delegation visits GDD to explore technological innovations

The Guangzhou Development District Heidelberg Offshore Innovation Center recently invited 17 business representatives from European countries such as Germany, the United Kingdom, and Italy to visit GDD (Guangzhou Development District).

The primary purpose of this visit was to allow these business representatives to gain an in-depth understanding of the region's business environment, industrial development, technological innovation, and ecological protection progress.

During the visit, the delegation deeply experienced the atmosphere of technological innovation and the efficient administrative efficiency of GDD. Members of the European delegation expressed high appreciation for GDD, considering it a land of opportunity for China-Europe cooperation.

They experienced the technological achievements of GDD, such as the international technology innovation companies in the Guangzhou Science City, the gathering of biopharmaceutical companies in the Guangzhou International Bio Island, as well as the virtual factory technology of Guangzhou MINO Equipment and the smart home products of Visionox Technology. 

Additionally, the delegation experienced the autonomous driving minibusses of WeRide in the Guangzhou International Bio Island, witnessing the application of Level 4 autonomous driving technology.

A member of the delegation, Tatiana, was amazed at the speed of GDD's development, believing that the efficiency of turning innovation into reality, which could be improved in Europe, is crucial. The Director of Investment Promotion at the GDD Heidelberg Offshore Innovation Center, Fei Ruixiang, also stated that through on-site visits, partners can more directly observe the atmosphere of technological innovation in GDD, paving the way for future cooperation.

This event deepened mutual understanding and provided a platform for cooperation between Chinese and foreign enterprises. The Heidelberg Offshore Innovation Center played an active role in this event, promoting technological innovation exchange and cooperation between China and Europe in artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and green development. Looking to the future, more international experts will come to GDD, injecting new vitality into the local technology innovation industry.
