On June 6, Zhan Decun, director of the foreign affairs office of the Guangzhou municipal government, met with Sylvain Mathias Christian Fourriere, consul general of France in Guangzhou, and his delegation. 

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss enhancing cooperation in culture and education between Guangzhou and France, as well as promoting friendly visits between the two regions.
