The visit began with GZUCM's President, Wang Wei, first presenting an overview of the university's engagement with Thai students. The Princess subsequently toured the Chinese Medicine History Exhibition Hall, where she explored the historical development of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in China and the Lingnan area. Her interest in the exhibits was evident as she frequently paused to ask questions, take photos, and jot down notes.

The Princess's tour also included brief stops at the Acupuncture Exhibition Hall, the TCM Health Preservation Exhibition Hall, and the Chinese Pharmacy Exhibition Hall. During a subsequent tea break, she sampled Xinhui Chenpi, a drink made from the dried tangerine peel, and enjoyed the Baduanjin performance, a type of martial arts, presented by the university's teacher.

Upon completion of the tea break, the Princess was invited to join representatives of GZUCM's faculty for a group photograph and to provide an inscription. Her chosen phrase, "Xing Lin Fang Fei", which alludes to the fragrant beauty of apricot forests and is a metaphor for the university's outstanding talent cultivation, was greeted with enthusiastic applause.

Her Royal Highness concluded her visit by meeting Thai students currently studying at GZUCM, taking the time to inquire about their academic progress, and posing for photos.

This visit marked Princess Sirindhorn's 50th visit to China. Renowned for her fluency in Chinese and her deep appreciation for Chinese literature, music, calligraphy, and painting, the Princess has actively fostered friendly cooperation between Thailand and China in various fields including culture, education, and technology.
