Lantern Festival celebrations in Guangzhou Cultural Park began on Feb 1 and will last through to Feb 5.

A total of 14 groups of lanterns have been arranged throughout the park to create the effect of fireworks and lights. During the festival, people can go to the park with their family and friends to marvel at the displays.

Flowers, fruits, and other traditional elements will also be seen depicted on lanterns to symbolize prosperity in the Spring Festival.
