Yuexiu district: West Lake Flower Market will be held online

West Lake Flower Market in Yuexiu district, also known as the "Centennial Flower Market", has always been the central flower market of Guangzhou and a must-see for Guangzhou's residents on New Year's Eve.

This year, the West Lake Flower Market will be mainly held online, supplemented by offline retails. Residents can browse for flowers on the online flower market. There will be no stalls nor sales at the offline flower market but a small Chinese New Year attraction will be set up in the eastern section of Xihu Road for residents to visit.

In order to meet the demand of residents purchasing new year flowers, some communities will set up temporary flower sales points outdoors. The online flower market and miniature attractions will be open from Jan 22 to Feb 15.
