Guangzhou shares experience of sustainable development during UN workshop

A voluntary local review (VLR) workshop, titled "Leaving No One Behind", was held online by the United Nations' Department of Economic and Social Affairs on April 15, and was attended by representatives from local city governments who have either submitted VLRs or have the intention to submit them.

More than 140 attendees from cities such as Guangzhou, Bristol in the United Kingdom, Mexico City, Barcelona in Spain and Mannheim in Germany all tuned in to the meeting. 

Huang Dingxi, vice president and secretary general of Guangzhou Urban Planning Association, attended the meeting and outlined Guangzhou's sustainable development concepts of fairness, diversity, inclusivity and openness.
