The 2020 (Guangzhou) International Anti-epidemic Materials Global Procurement Expo has been scheduled to be held from June 10 to 11 at Poly World Trade Center Expo in Guangzhou's Pazhou area.
The expo will cover an area of 36,000 square meters and the whole exhibition area will be divided into four areas, each for anti-COVID-19 epidemic products, equipment, comprehensive services, and raw materials.
A total of more than 400 companies will participate in the exhibition, of which more than 160 are from Guangzhou. The number of professional visitors is expected to reach 6,000.
At present, the expo has received registrations for visiting from more than 5,000 purchasers.
Yang Yong, director of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangzhou Sub-Council, said that the sub-council has teamed with 27 companies or institutions to set up an association for the export of anti-epidemic supplies.
Yang said that the association has received purchasing lists from 56 overseas business associations and international organizations' branches in Guangzhou for medical supplies covering testing kits, protective suits, masks, ventilators, blood gas analyzers, as well as spray machines.
The scale of the expo has been expanded again and again since the preparation started over two weeks ago, showcasing the strong momentum in the recovery of Guangzhou's exhibition industry, added Yang.
Strict anti-COVID-19 epidemic measures will be taken during the expo, while exhibitions held both online and offline will be available.
