The construction of the Qingsheng transportation hub in Nansha will be designated as a pilot project that adopts Hong Kong's method of submitting approvals one-by-one to accelerate construction.
The work plan for the complex project of the Qingsheng transportation hubwas released on Feb 12, carrying out trial implementation of Hong Kong's construction and management method.
The project, being the first of its kind in Guangzhou applying Hong Kong's method, is expected to attract more talents from Hong Kong to get involved in the construction of the Nansha Area of the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone, as well as to establish a cooperation mechanism between Guangzhou and Hong Kong in construction.
The work plan noted that the project will apply evaluation indicators listed by the World Bank for obtaining construction permits to improve the local business environment, allowing talents with Hong Kong qualifications in construction to be able to provide professional services for Nansha.
The Qingsheng project has been allowed to apply for construction permits in phases, with foundation pit and pile foundation work able to be started in advance, saving more than one year in construction for companies.
