A news conference for the upcoming Guangzhou International Innovation Festival, which will run from Nov 2 to 4, was held on Oct 16 in Guangzhou.

The Guangzhou International Innovation Festival, which was first held in 2016, has established a high-level platform for the exhibition and discussion of international technologies and innovations.

This year's festival, themed around "Innovation and Intelligence Leads to A Better Future," will be held in Tianhe district. More than 30 themed forums on hot issues like the new generation of information technology, artificial intelligence, high-end equipment manufacturing, 5G, and the mobile internet will be held during the three-day festival.

The festival is expected to gather over 50 guests with global influence from countries such as China, Israel, the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, and Greece.

The Guangzhou Science and Technology Forum and Summit of Agricultural Artificial Intelligence, undertaken by South China Agricultural University, will be included in the festival for the first time to discuss the application, promotion, and innovation of AI technologies in the agricultural industry.

The T-Hero Competitions, a festival brand activity for innovation and entrepreneurship, has attracted more than 1,800 domestic projects to participate in it, in which 24 of them will be selected to compete in the finals.
