The Guangzhou Haizhu Hong Kong and Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Service Center was put into operation on Sept 23 in Guangzhou's Pazhou area after four months of preparation.

The service center, which was built to support youth from Hong Kong and Macao to start their entrepreneurial journey in Guangzhou, is a non-profit platform launched by patriotic entrepreneurs from Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Macao.

Focusing on the application of new technology like artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, blockchain, and big data, the service center has gathered industrial resources in various fields to provide high-quality services.

Training on entrepreneurship and consultation services related to taxes, business policies, and local laws are provided at the center. Prestigious companies will also work with the center to offer internships and job opportunities for youth.

The center will also help companies to finish industrial and commercial registration, as well as expand financing channels, such as venture capital.

Youth-targeted apartments will be available, along with services in areas such as transportation, entertainment, medicine, and education to help youth from Hong Kong and Macao integrate into local life.

Currently, two innovation and entrepreneurship bases have been unveiled in the center. A total of 29 projects have signed on to settle down in the center, including 15 projects of Hong Kong and Macao youth innovation and entrepreneurship.
