After a month interning at financial institutions, central enterprises, and foreign invested companies in Nansha district, Guangzhou, a total of 148 college students finished  their internship with a special commencement ceremony on July 9.

During their stay in Nansha, they obtained work experience and gained a better understanding of the importance of cooperation between cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. They all said that Nansha is a desirable place to live and work in the future.

"The air in Nansha is very good. There are many trees and flowers and plants. In 2025, I will surely come back and see how the 'future city' that has been planned today is built. I am also very confident about this," said one of the interns from Hong Kong.

The internship program was first launched in 2016 with 15 companies offering internship opportunities for 23 students from the two special administrative regions. This year, 144 companies in Nansha offered more than 1,200 positions for the students from Hong Kong and Macao.
