Guangzhou fair spotlights food from across the world

Preserved pork from Hunan province, nuts from Turkey, and coffee from Brazil can all be purchased in Guangzhou without having to leave the city.

The Eighth Guangzhou International Food & Ingredient Fair and Expo Food Guangzhou 2019 were simultaneously held in Guangzhou on June 27, with 1,500 exhibitors from across China and the world displaying their food products and ingredients.

Held at Guangzhou Poly World Trade Center Expo Center , the events will run until June 29. Ten provinces in China including Yunan, Heilongjiang, Sichuan, Jilin, and Henan have sent exhibitor groups which are showcasing organic agricultural products, produce, and local specialties. 

Overseas participants include those from Japan, Malaysia, Israel, Cambodia, Germany, Russia, Brazil, Ukraine, and the United States. 

Professional visitors can join the fair and expo by trading their business cards for free tickets, while ordinary visitors can buy tickets for the events.
