Since 2015, the Hong Kong and Macao affairs office of Guangzhou has bridged more than 1,000 internship opportunities with Hong Kong youth for the program, with most of the internships offered by the world's top 500 companies.
According to a person-in-charge of the program, a group of 37 students stood out among more than 90 applicants this time and most of them began internships from June 17 to July 28 at banks, pharmaceutical companies, libraries, museums and high-tech firms in Guangzhou.
