More than 700 citizens from Guangzhou were invited to tour a Navy vessel at a naval port on April 23, a day that marks the 70th birthday of the People's Liberation Army Navy.

The Hanzhong vessel is a new type of missile frigate independently developed by China. It has participated in many major exercises and activities in China.

The citizens, including students from primary schools and universities, got a close look at the warship, as well as its weapons and equipment, gaining a better understanding of the development of China's Navy.

The event was a good way to show the achievements of the construction and development of the Navy in the past 70 years, allowing the public to understand the marines and raise their awareness of marine rights and marine defense.
