A‌i‌r‌b‌n‌b‌,‌ an American online marketplace and hospitality services provider, announced on April 3 that it will offer distinctive lodging services with Cantonese features in Guangzhou's Yuexiu district.

A sub-forum of the 2019 Guangzhou Annual Investment Conference was held in Yuexiu district, Guangzhou and 15 companies in the areas of finance, technology and innovation, and modern services signed cooperation contracts with Yuexiu.

Airbnb plans to work together with Yuexiu to launch a project that integrates business, tourism, and culture, helping the Guangzhou district spread its culture to the world.

There are about 400 traditional buildings in the Xinhepu area of Yuexiu district, which make up the largest existing low-rise courtyard modern building cluster in Guangzhou. Yuexiu and Airbnb will work together to showcase the Cantonese culture sense of the district, providing distinctive business and tourism products to tourists, and bringing out the value of characteristic historical blocks.
